NITDA: Further Extension of Deadline for filing 2019 Annual Data Protection Compliance Audit Report

Due to the current COVID-19 Pandemic, the Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has approved an extension to the initial deadline of March 15 for all Data Controllers and Data Administrators to file their 2019 Data Protection Audit Report. Accordingly:

• The Deadline for filing the Annual Data Protection Audit Report has been extended to Tuesday, 30 June 2020.
• All Data Controllers and Data Administrators should endeavour to file their Annual Data Protection Audit Report through a licensed Data Protection Compliance Organisation (DPCO) on or before Tuesday, 30 June 2020.
